High Strength Marine Steel: ABS AH40

Marine steel plates have two types: common strength and high strength steel plate according to the differences of yield strength and tensile strength. ABS AH40 marine steel belongs to high strength steel plate with tensile strength up to 650MPa. 

High strength marine steel ABS AH40 possesses good toughness properties, high strength, strong corrosion-resistance and is easy to process and weld.

We can offer additional technical tests like Z-test, Ultrasonic test and low temperature impacting test. Bebon will supply the relative service. We will offer mill test certificate issued under EN 10204 format and with BV ship surveyor endorsed and stamped.

ABS AH40 steel plates are used extensively in the shipbuilding industry. AH40 steel is used for ships and barges or oil rigs and other offshore equipments as structural parts or it may be implemented as repair pieces.
