Hot working of AISI 1030 carbon steel is performed at 93 to 482°C (200 to 900°F).

AISI 1030 square pipe Cold Working In the annealed condition, 

cold working of AISI 1030 steel may be performed by conventional methods. 

After annealing, a full or stress relief anneal may be required.
